Areas I Teach
Course Information
In a typical semester, I teach a few of our lower division math courses: algebra, precalculus, statistics, calculus, and the like. I teach one of the math for elementary teachers courses every spring. Occasionally, I have an opportunity to teach FYC (formerly FYS). Below is a complete list of the courses I've taught:
HUM 100 (Fall 2022 FYS) | Science Fiction, Science Fact
MATH 122 | College Algebra
MATH 125 | Precalculus
MATH 165 | Modern Topics in Mathematics
MATH 207 | General Elementary Statistics
MATH 221 | Math for Elementary Teachers I
MATH 223 | Math for Elementary Teachers II
MATH 226 | Calculus I
MATH 227 | Calculus II
Creative Projects
One of the benefits of being at a place like Pacific, where we value an education grounded in the liberal arts, is that there are often opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations and other cross-curricular adventures. Below are a few of the music projects I've worked on over the years:
Fall 2022: (Text: Lord Byron. Performed by Vera Voce.)
Spring 2022: (Text: Emily Dickinson. Performed by Vera Voce.)
